Nico is a Senior Advisor and Partner at Better Future Farms, Inc. (BFF), where he brings years of CEA leafy greens growing and operational expertise to the senior leadership team. His roles include advising BFF’s management on greenhouse and growing system design and construction, as well as lettuce growing and operational optimization. He also participates with BFF in the international grower exchange through his 6+acre leafy greens facility in Belgium.

In addition to his Senior Advisor Role, Nico runs Goni, just outside Brussels, Belgium. A third generation Belgian lettuce grower, Nico started Goni in 2015, which has become one of the most important CEA lettuce producers in Belgium and surrounding region. Nico has been recognized for his hiqh-quality lettuce products, setting up his own brand and logistics, as well as innovation with growing systems - valuable expertise he brings to BFF and its CEA farms in the U.S.
